- Provides excellent coverage of the southern San Diego County and up in to parts of western Orange County and Los Angeles. Northern San Diego County coverage can be spotty depending on location.
Mt Otay is located in the southern border of San Diego County. It covers the western portion of the county very well. Coastal and coverage op the I5 corridor. Otay covers the inland valleys as well and with an omni antenna, provides coverage of Mexico as well. Perfect wide area coverage for communication. This is a good one to have in your radio for emergency communications as well.
